THE OLDEST STUDENT – First Book Signing!
Hello Everyone and thanks so much for stopping by! Here I am at Star Line books in downtown Chattanooga, Tennessee on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at the very first book signing for THE OLDEST STUDENT.
FYI, it had been clear and mild all week long in Chattanooga, but by Thursday evening, ALL of the weather persons were predicting tornadoes, wind, rain and severe thunderstorms on Saturday. But since there’s an old bible saying that goes, “He who watches the wind fails to sow…”, and since I grew up on that saying, I ignored all the horrid possibilities (including the possibility that no one would show up) and plowed ahead.
The room was packed, and there were people along the walls and sitting on the floor. They were so vested in the story that after I read many of the pages, they broke into applause. Afterward, my gracious host, Ms. Star Lowe, informed me that there had been an order for books that would be going up north, and even to Europe!
Yes my friend, I can truthfully say that the first book signing for THE OLDEST STUDENT was truly a good day. THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO TOOK THE TIME OUT OF THEIR BUSY SCHEDULE TO COME AND SUPPORT YOU. YOU ARE APPRECIATED.
