Getting a Job in the Food Industry
This was my very first educational writer-for-hire title. I was so thrilled when the publisher, Rosen Classroom, commissioned me to write it. The idea was to prepare high school students to leave the classroom and go straight into the work world. But I didn’t just prepare them for “fast food” work; I also added content that taught them how to search for jobs, how to dress, how to stand out among the competition, and how to KEEP the job once they were hired.
Guess you can tell I’m proud of this accomplishment.
