My Latest #Career Book is Here!
Hi Everybody,
Whoop-eeeee! My new vocational/career title, Getting a Job in the Food Industry, just arrived this week, and I’m soooo excited!
Here is it: Getting a Job in The Food Industry, published by Rosen Publishing.
First, a big thanks to my Rosen Publishing editor for working with me and encouraging me.
Writing for Rosen was a singular experience. Though there were many resources out there, many were outdated and I had to just about start from scratch. But as the months went by, the manuscript slowly began to take shape, and before I knew it, we had a product.
Now to receive the actual book — which, by the way, is beautifully packaged — does my heart good. The colors are rich, the typesetting is perfect, and the layout is, well, all that!
You’re probably saying to yourself that I’m like a mother gushing over her first baby. Well, I am, in a way. This is my baby. My second, actually, since African Americans of Chattanooga: A History of Unsung Heroes was my first. But this book is so different from that one, and thus feels a lot like my first…even though it isn’t.
And isn’t that the way it is in real life. Every baby you have is different from the one you had before, so they’re all like firsts in a way.
Anyway, I digress. I just hoped you would share in my excitement with me, and I promise, I’ll share your excitement with you when your time comes around.
In the meantime, you can order your own copy by clicking the following link, if you like. Your support is greatly appreciated!
Best wishes and happy writing,
Rita Lorraine
