A Business Grant for Writers

Hi Everybody,
April showers bring May flowers…but I digress. Actually, I’m stopping through to bring you another grant that has just come to my attention, and this one may be perfect for a small “writing” home business.

Interested? Well, here’s the scoop: Idea Cafe is offering a $1000 grant to small businesses already in operation, or to any business person with an idea for a business.

If this is you — if you’re a person with a BIG idea for a SMALL business — you should go for it. I’ve seen applications for everything from flower shops to photography shops, and I even saw one “book publishing” business on the roster of new applications.

This means your publishing idea should have just as much chance of winning as anyone else’s idea…but you’ll never know until you apply. Right?

The deadline is June 1st so you have plenty of time to get your application together.
