Keep it Moving!

You’ll get there…sooner or later.
Hi Everybody,
Breezing thru with a quote that has kept me inspired for many a year, and which suddenly–just this morning, in fact–has inspired a quote of my own. Want to know what it is? Read on.
If you can’t run, then walk.
If you can’t walk, then crawl.
But whatever you do,
you have to keep moving forward.”
–Dr. M.L. King
So, so true.
And now, thus inspired by the honorable Dr. King, here’s my own quote for writers:
(by Rita Lorraine Hubbard, Copyright 2/5/2013)
Write!
If you don’t know any big words, use little ones.
If you don’t have a computer/word processor, write by hand.
If you can’t write every day, write every other day.
If you can’t write during the week, write on the weekends.
If you can’t finish an entire novel right now, finish a chapter.
If you can’t finish a chapter, finish a page.
If you can’t finish a page, finish a paragraph.
If you can’t afford a writing seminar, check out a library book.
If you can’t afford a paid conference, find a free one and attend that.
If you can’t afford an editor, join a critique group.
If you can’t find a critique group, start a group of your own.
Whatever you face, whatever you do, keep it moving.
Write!
Best wishes for a “wordy” and productive 2013,
Rita Lorraine
