Black History Chattanooga – 2012
Hi Everybody,
Yes, it’s that time again…it’s Black History Month, and I’m coming to you with a pleasant surprise – and an honor – from NewsChannel9.
What’s the surprise? Why, that my book, African Americans of Chattanooga: A History of Unsung Heroes is still encouraging readers of all races, and is apparently perfect for Black History Month in Chattanooga.
UPDATE: The video clips have been removed for editing, but I’ll re-post them as soon as they’re available on NewsChannel9!
If you’d like to purchase my book, just click on the Amazon link to the right and you’ll be taken directly to their website.
Best wishes and happy Black History Month,
Rita Lorraine

I just read the news from Lee and Low.
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!
I’m so happy for you and I’m very proud of you.
I feel elated and it’s not even me.
‘Morning Gwendolyn,
Thanks soooooo much for your support. I’ve known since December 20, but couldn’t say anything until it was official…and boy, was it hard to keep that secret. I’m so excited and hope everyone will fall in love with Uncle Billy’s story. Again, thanks for your kind words. I really appreciate you. 😀
