Cheerios Spoonsful of Stories Contest

Hello Picture Book Lovers,
It’s that time of year again. Time to dust off your picture book work-in-progress, buff it to a fine shine, and submit it in the Cheerios Spoonfuls of Stories competition!

Cheerios Spoonfuls of Stories is a program that focuses on getting high quality, award-winning books in the hands of children. The program also encourages parents and children to savor the joys of reading together. Did you know that over the past 9 years since the program began, Cheerios has given away 50 million+ children’s books?

I know this sounds like a plug for Cheerios, but it isn’t; it’s a plug for hopeful picture book writers. If you have a manuscript that has been laying around, or if you have an idea for one, why not enter it into the Cheerios competition? You never know what might happen.
