Picture Book Depot’s in the House!

Hi Everybody,
Hope you’re having a wonderful time preparing your delicious food for Thanksgiving. Just dropping through to tell you about my new website, and to ask you to whisk over for a visit.

My new site is called PICTURE BOOK DEPOT. As many of you know, I became a book reviewer a couple of years ago. I’ve been privileged to read some of the finest books out there, and I love to share what I’ve found. Since picture books are my passion, I decided to launch a site devoted to picture books for readers of all ages.

NOT JUST FOR KIDS

No, Picture Book Depot is not just for kids. There are all sorts of picture books out there, each one more wonderful than the one before. For example, in December I’m featuring Sports Illustrated: The Covers, a picture book chocked full of historical SI covers from the time it began in the 1950’s until the present day. In February, I’m featuring two Magazine-Picture Books about President Obama. One will discuss a typical day in Obama’s life, and the other is a compilation of all the “front covers” from various newspapers over the world when Obama was elected.

A WRITER’S FORUM

Picture Book Depot will feature a writer’s forum. There, picture book writers can gather for news and contests, or to meet other writers and share the writer’s journey. The forum is still developing, so please be patient.
