Hello Everyone! I'm a former educator of 20+ years with an advanced degree in School Psychology and I'm currently a full-time children's writer, ghost writer, and freelance editor. I earned the 2014 SCBWI Letter of Merit for an unpublished Multicultural manuscript; I am the 2012 Lee and Low New Voices Award Winner; I am the author of Getting a Job in the Food Industry (Rosen Publishing, 2013), Getting the Most Out of MOOC: Massive Open Online Courses (Rosen, 2015); The Right Degree for Me in Healthcare (Rosen, 2015); and African Americans of Chattanooga: A History of Unsung Heroes (The History Press, 2008). I am also a Media Professional for the New York Journal of Books, a member of, and a member of 12x12 - 12 Picture Books, 12 Months.

    Thanks so much for writing in. I’m so glad you liked the film. We had to squeeze all that creativity into five minutes, but we had lots of fun doing it.
